The Gem Saloon's Kentucky Derby celebration is an event guests look forward to year after year, bringing people together for a lively day of style, celebration, and support for a meaningful cause. For the 152nd Kentucky Derby celebration, Snaptrend returned to create a custom photo booth experience designed to match the personality of The Gem Saloon and give guests another memorable way to enjoy the day.

The Challenge
Creating something fun, private, and unmistakably on-brand
With an energetic crowd and a highly themed event, The Gem Saloon needed more than a standard photo booth setup. The experience had to feel like a natural extension of the venue, give guests a comfortable space to pose and have fun, and keep The Gem Saloon brand visible across every photo that was printed, saved, or shared.

The Solution
A custom saloon-style photo experience guests kept coming back to
Snaptrend created a custom saloon-style photo booth enclosure that gave guests a private and immersive space to step inside, pose, laugh, and create memories throughout the celebration. The experience included printed keepsakes, boomerangs, digital sharing, and a custom The Gem Saloon branded photo overlay on every image. The activation welcomed 117 guests, captured 109 photos, created 186 prints and 33 boomerangs, and generated 80 text shares. Every delivered photo carried The Gem Saloon branding, extending the experience well beyond the event itself. What stood out most was how often guests returned to the booth. What started as a photo moment became part of the celebration itself, giving guests something they could experience together, take home, save, and share.
