BNY Family Day 2026: Creating Personalized Family Keepsakes at Scale

The Story

Two photo experiences built around the family

BNY Family Day welcomed more than 1,400 employees and family members for a day of celebration. Snaptrend created two complementary photo experiences for the event: an AI Family Booth that transformed families into Safari Adventurers, New Yorkers, or a Superhero Family, and a Postcard Photo Experience that turned family portraits into custom-designed BNY postcards guests could take home or mail on the spot.

Families did not simply receive a branded photograph. They got to decide who they wanted to become, and walked away with a keepsake that felt like it belonged to them.

Personalization at scale, without the lines

How do you deliver something personalized, memorable, and highly visual to more than 1,400 guests without creating a complicated experience or long lines?

The activation needed to work for families of different sizes and ages, feel distinctly branded for BNY, and offer guests something more meaningful than a traditional event photo. It also needed to move efficiently in a high-volume environment.

The Solution

QR-first check-in, six custom AI designs, and three keepsake formats

Snaptrend combined custom technology, advance QR check-in, personalized creative choices, physical keepsakes, and a fully branded environment.

A custom BNY Family Day microsite let guests scan a QR code before reaching the booth, choose their AI theme and keepsake format, and receive their own session code. The attendant simply scanned it and the photo experience began immediately, moving registration and selections upstream so the on-site team could focus on welcoming families and producing keepsakes.

Snaptrend developed six custom AI experiences across three themes, with separate compositions built for large prints and for keychains so each design worked correctly for its final physical product. The Postcard Booth added a more timeless option, with a dedicated "Mail Your Postcards Here" station that let families create, personalize, and send their photo.
