Participation
Understand how many photo or video sessions were completed and, when reliably available, how many guests participated.
Brand Activations / Measurement guide
A straightforward guide to what your photo or video activation can measure, what your team receives afterward and where the limits are. Plan the reporting before the event, not after it.
The quick answer
The right report starts with the right experience. Here are the four kinds of answers we plan for.
Understand how many photo or video sessions were completed and, when reliably available, how many guests participated.
See how many photos, videos, AI transformations, prints and digital delivery actions were completed.
Receive qualifying form submissions, opt-in information and approved survey responses when data capture is included.
Identify peak participation times, guest activity and practical recommendations for future activations.
Your proposal will identify which metrics are available for your selected experience. Not every platform or activation tracks the same information.
Reading the report
A number is only useful if you know what was counted. These are the distinctions we make when describing event results.
Sessions are completed visits through the photo or video experience. One session can include more than one guest, so sessions are not a headcount.
Participants are individual guests counted when the chosen workflow can reliably identify them. If that is not possible, we report sessions without presenting them as unique people.
Qualifying leads are completed submissions that meet the form and consent criteria agreed before the event. A captured email address is not automatically a marketing opt-in.
Opt-in rate is completed opt-ins divided by eligible interactions, multiplied by 100. We identify the denominator used so your team knows what the percentage represents.
Digital deliveries count completed delivery actions such as texts, emails or downloads. Sharing activities are actions guests take through a supported sharing workflow.
Private delivery is not the same as a public post. We only report a verified public share when the platform or campaign workflow can confirm that public action.
Verified impressions are view counts provided by a connected platform or approved campaign measurement source. They are only included when that source is available.
Estimated impressions are modeled views based on stated assumptions, not platform analytics. Potential reach describes the possible audience size of shared content, not the number of people who actually saw it. We label each separately.
Cost per lead = agreed event cost ÷ qualifying leads. The report should state which event cost is used, such as the activation fee or another agreed amount, and whether any additional production costs are included.
If lead capture is not part of the experience, or there are no qualifying leads, cost per lead is not reported as a meaningful result.
Single-event results describe one activation. For multiple events, totals add comparable results, averages show the per-event mean and highest achieved results identify the best individual event, not a typical outcome.
An estimate is a projection, never a completed event result. Labels and event counts should make the basis of every figure clear.
Illustrative only
Here is how an opt-in rate is calculated when the eligible interaction count and completed opt-ins are known.
This is a fictional calculation to explain the formula, not a performance claim.
Example shown for explanation only. It does not represent a specific Snaptrend event.
Before production
Snaptrend and your team agree on the objective, guest flow and reporting plan together. These are the decisions that shape what can be measured.
Establishing the reporting plan before the event helps prevent unclear expectations and ensures that the experience is designed around the results your team actually needs.
After the event
The handoff is defined in your proposal, not assumed from a generic package.
Available session, content, delivery and participation figures, with labels that explain what was counted.
When included in scope, approved lead or survey exports and the content or gallery access identified in the proposal.
Available peak times, an explanation of any estimates or measurement limits, and practical observations for the next event.
Your proposal or agreement identifies the report format, included files and expected delivery schedule. These vary by experience.
Good to ask
Short answers to the questions that tend to come up while planning a measurable experience.
We can report completed sessions and, when supported by the event workflow, unique participants. Because one session may include several guests, session totals and participant totals are not always the same.
Yes, when consent-based data capture is included in the event scope. Available form fields depend on the selected platform and the client’s approved requirements.
Only when the platform or campaign workflow provides verified public-sharing data. Text messages, emails and downloads are reported as delivery or sharing activities, not automatically as public social posts.
No. Estimated impressions are modeled projections based on disclosed assumptions. They should not be presented as verified platform analytics.
The delivery schedule depends on the selected package and reporting scope. The proposal or agreement should identify which files and reports are included and when they will be delivered.
Yes. Reporting fields, branding and delivery requirements can be discussed before the event, subject to the capabilities of the selected platform.
No. Snaptrend can design the experience to encourage participation, but results depend on attendance, placement, guest interest, service time, form requirements and other event conditions.
Plan with clarity
Share your event objective and the decisions your report needs to support. We can discuss an experience and a measurement plan that fit the brief.
